NFT stands for non-fungible token. An NFT is a collectible digital asset that is stored and contained on a blockchain. The blockchain verifies ownership, provenance, and transaction history in relation to the NFT and provides ownership rights as an asset, typically a digital one, such as a digital work of art.
My NFTs are like any other physical collector’s item, but instead of receiving an oil painting on canvas to hang on your wall like one of my original paintings, you get a digital collectible, that, if you wish, you can still display on your wall in the same way as a painting by using a smart TV or NFT canvas.
I am proud to be the first artist regionally to offer an NFT option of artwork alongside the physical paintings in an exhibition. There are limited 1 of 1 animated ‘collectibles’ of select “Dreamscape” works.
