Welcome to my new blog! In this space I’ll be sharing my thoughts, talking about flying and art, expounding on quotes and books I love, and answering your burning questions!
If you’ve been following me for a long time you’ll remember that I had a blog when I lived in Florence, Italy while I was completing my Fine Arts thesis with my University, OCAD, where I detailed studio life while living in a 14th century apartment, traveling through Europe, and having on-site art history classes in the epicentre of the Italian Renaissance. To say it was an amazing, life-altering experience would be an understatement. I also kept a blog while I lived in Qatar, called “Qatar So Far” detailing my expat life in a country with endless, fascinating cultural differences. I loved my time there and my stories about getting my driving permit, the women only how-to-be-married class in the grand mosque, modeling, volunteering, and my Al Jazeera Ramadan television special appearance were, more often than not, full of comedy.
If I could do it all over again I’d have kept a better online journal of my amazing travels — summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro with female pilot friends, the glacial Salkantay Trek to Machu Picchu, a solo New Years Eve in Cusco, my Everest Base Camp trek, among others, make for some of the most interesting stories I have to share. Those were all hand-written in my travel journals, but I will transcribe them here from time to time. They are always so much fun to re-visit.
This is a new space and so much has changed since then. I look forward to sharing with you and getting your always amazing feedback here.

Have an amazing day!
